Who is your favorite celebrity? Is it Michael Jordan, JoJo Siwa, or Elsa from the popular movie Frozen? In this writing assignment, students will choose their favorite celebrity and describe why they are their favorite, using both opinions and facts about that person.
Begin by gathering students together and showing them three items you have in a bag. These can be toys, shoes, shirts, or anything that you collect (it helps if it is something that the students will be interested in).
