Introduction

What would life be like without electricity? What if the light bulb was never created? Students will write about something that would be different in their life if they couldn’t turn on the light.

Learning Objectives

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.K.2; Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.

Students get practice identifying predators and prey and describe them through writing.

Students learn about and then compare and contrast complete and incomplete metamorphosis.

Vibrations!

Students will learn what vibrations are, discover how they are produced, and explain the cause and effect relationship between the vibrating materials and sound through pictures and a short essay.
