Measuring Objects Using Non-Standard Forms of Measurement

Introduction

How long is something? It is important to know the lengths of objects for many reasons. Think about if your parents want to buy a new kitchen table. How will they know it will fit? Or what if Grandpa is building a garden. How will he know how much wood to purchase to fit the space? There are many ways to measure objects, and measuring can be as simple as using your hands or feet!
